ChatPy Terms of Service

By signing up for or using ChatPy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety.

ChatPy reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service with prior notice.

ChatPy is available to users aged 13 and older (14 and older in Korea).

Parental or legal guardian consent may be required for minors.

Users bear full responsibility for the security of their accounts.

The Company is not liable for issues arising from negligent account management.

Automated bots, scraping, reverse engineering, and similar activities are prohibited.

Copyright of content uploaded by users belongs to the respective users.

Users grant ChatPy a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and translate their content as necessary.

Users are legally responsible for all content they upload.

Unauthorized uploading of copyrighted material belonging to others is prohibited.

Users are responsible for the copyright of uploaded images.

ChatPy may remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.

Upon receiving a copyright holder's report, the relevant content will be removed under Safe Harbor principles.

Hosts bear primary responsibility for managing content in their Plazas.

Hosts must ensure profanity, hate speech, and illegal content are not left unmoderated.

Hosts must take action within a reasonable time upon receiving user reports.

Hosting illegal gambling, drug-related, or child exploitation content will result in immediate account suspension.

Age restriction settings are mandatory for adult content rooms.

ChatPy may close rooms violating these terms without prior notice.

Hosts are responsible for the copyright of all videos they stream.

Only playback through official YouTube/Twitch embed APIs is permitted.

Illegal re-streaming of copyrighted movies, TV shows, and sports broadcasts is prohibited.

Paid sports/events may not be broadcast without an official license.

Streaming will be immediately stopped and hosts warned upon copyright holder reports.

Creator status will be revoked after 3 copyright warnings.

Public screening/streaming of copyrighted movies, TV shows, dramas, and anime is prohibited.

This includes screen sharing from Netflix, Disney+, and similar services.

Re-broadcasting of paid sports events (Premier League, NBA, UFC, etc.) without an official broadcasting license is prohibited.

Full re-broadcasting of news footage is prohibited; only brief quotes within Fair Use are permitted.

Watch Parties using official YouTube/Twitch embeds are permitted subject to those platforms' terms.

Screen sharing from paid streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Coupang Play, etc.) violates those services' terms and is also prohibited on ChatPy.

Most game publishers permit gameplay footage, but full playback of in-game cinematics/cutscenes may constitute copyright infringement.

Fan-created works (fan art, fan videos) must follow the original creator's guidelines; ChatPy assumes no responsibility for such content.

Hosts are responsible for the copyright of music played in their rooms.

Personal subscriptions to Spotify, Apple Music, etc. do not constitute public playback licenses.

Only royalty-free music, Creative Commons licensed music, and self-produced music are permitted.

ChatPy may mute or stop playback upon automatic detection of copyrighted music.

Music category rooms must comply with additional music licensing guidelines.

1 ChatPy Coin = $1 USD (fixed)

Unused coins may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

Already used coins are excluded from refunds.

Completed Super Chat transactions cannot be refunded.

Payment requires users to be 18 or older, or have legal guardian consent.

Fraud such as self-laundering Super Chats through fake accounts will result in permanent suspension.

Accounts will be temporarily suspended upon chargebacks, with action taken after verification.

All applicable taxes on payments are the user's responsibility.

ChatPy Coins are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

The refund eligibility period is also limited to within this validity period.

Unused coins expire automatically after 1 year and are non-refundable once expired.

ChatPy Coins cannot be transferred to other users or moved between accounts.

Sending a Super Chat is considered service usage, not a transfer of coins.

ChatPy applies a tiered commission rate based on the Creator's monthly earnings:

Basic (up to $1,000/month): 30%

Pro ($5,000+/month): 25%

Gold ($20,000+/month): 20%

Partner ($100,000+/month): 15%

Commission is applied on a monthly settlement basis. Tier status is automatically recalculated at the beginning of each month.

Creator earnings are credited to a separate Creator Wallet, independent of myTobi credits.

Withdrawal requests are available from $10 or more.

Korea: Bank transfer via TossPayments payout service

International: International remittance via Payoneer

Withdrawal methods are configured during Creator registration and can be changed in the Creator Dashboard.

Withdrawals are processed within 1-5 business days after request.

Creators are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on their earnings.

Korean resident individual Creators: 3.3% withheld at source

Creators are obligated to provide accurate tax information (legal name, country, business status).

Providing false tax information may result in earnings hold and account suspension.

Invoices are automatically generated upon withdrawal approval.

ChatPy may change the commission rate with 30 days' prior notice.

Only Pro tier Creators may create paid rooms.

Refunds are provided if a user leaves within 5 minutes of entry. No refunds thereafter.

75% of entry fees go to the Creator; 25% to the platform.

If a host closes a room, users who entered within the last 30 minutes receive automatic refunds.

Hate speech, racism, sexual degradation, incitement to violence, support for terrorism, and child exploitation content are prohibited.

Profanity filters and AI contextual judgment are applied.

Warning → Mute → Kick → Ban (cumulative)

Immediate permanent suspension for child exploitation, terrorism, murder threats, etc.

Appeal procedures are provided for all sanctions.

Repeated false reporting may result in sanctions against the reporter.

We collect email, name, country, profile photo, chat content, and payment information.

Chat messages are sent to LLM APIs for translation and are not stored.

Chat messages are stored on servers and permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

Personal information is not sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

Cookies are used for session management and login persistence.

EU users may request access to, modification of, and deletion of their data.

Used exclusively for settlement purposes and stored with encryption.

The service is provided on an "AS IS" basis; we do not guarantee a perfect service.

ChatPy is not responsible for disputes between users.

YouTube/Twitch embedded content is subject to those platforms' terms.

ChatPy's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user.

ChatPy is exempt from liability for service disruptions caused by natural disasters, server failures, etc.

Users may delete their accounts at any time; unused coins are refunded within 14 days.

ChatPy may suspend or delete accounts for terms violations without prior notice.

Upon Creator status revocation, unsettled earnings will be paid within 60 days.

All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

"ChatPy", "ChatPy Coin", logos, and UI designs are ChatPy's intellectual property; unauthorized use is prohibited.

The ChatPy Embed widget is free for non-commercial use; commercial use requires prior permission.

Unauthorized use of ChatPy APIs, scraping, and access through automation tools are prohibited.

User chat content is not used for AI model training.

Only real-time processing for translation and moderation purposes is performed.
